The interview was pretty intense, typical for a QA Lead role, with a heavy focus on technical questions rather than situational ones. It actually went on longer than I expected for a meet-the-team type of interview. The Development Manager kept hitting me with a variety of challenging questions.

The interview process starts off with a really brief interview via the phone. The next step is the face to face interview where you have to start off by taking a simple math test, then there is simple QA test where you try to find all the different bugs in a program to see your aptitude. Next is a one on one interview with the head of HR. Finally there is an interview with the head of the Quality Assurance department.

  • Can you describe your ability to collaborate within a team environment and your adaptability?
  • How adaptable are you?
