Project Analyst
The HCL Technologies hiring process kicks off with a resume review, then there's an aptitude test to check your analytical skills. After that, you'll be in a group discussion (GD) to see how you communicate and work with others. Lastly, they'll have a personal interview (PI) to check your technical skills, your past work experience, and if you're a good fit for the company culture.
- Can you describe your process for gathering and understanding data to inform project choices?
- What's your strategy for tackling challenges that come up during a project?
- Which specific tools or software applications do you rely on for project analysis and generating reports?
Analyst
First there was a written test on co-cubes that included aptitude and some CS fundamentals. Then the technical interview was pretty straightforward, asking core Java and OOPS concepts. Finally, the HR round involved general questions about personal goals and my interest in the company.
- Can you start by telling me about yourself?
- What are two of your weaknesses?
- What's your take on working in a team?
Senior Analyst
The interview process was quite straightforward, with only basic questions being asked, making it relatively easy to pass. The questions covered fundamental Java, Unix, and SQL concepts, specifically focusing on collections and arrays. Interestingly, the actual job responsibilities were not directly related to these technical questions.
- What are the basics of Java?
- Can you explain SQL basics?
- What are the basics of Unix?
