The interview was for a Management Trainee role in Pre-sales and Sales. I chose pre-sales. The first round was an IQ/Intelligence test (written) with 60 pattern recognition questions to be done in 30 minutes or less. Each question involved a series of figures, and the task was to identify the missing piece from the options. Speed was crucial, as the time taken was also considered. This was a major elimination stage, with only 19 out of 180+ students selected. For the second round, the 19 candidates were split into two groups (10 and 9). This was a group discussion to assess analytical skills, and 9 candidates moved forward. The third round was another group discussion focusing on analytical diligence and persuasion skills, shortlisting 5 candidates for the final round. The final round was a 1:1 interview where candidates were asked profile-specific questions. Two students were ultimately selected: one for pre-sales and one for sales.
