First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Haymarket Media Group.
Sales Manager
This hiring process was a complete waste of time and money and really unprofessional. They made promises of a decision but nothing came of it, even though HR told me I had the position! They should treat people with more respect, especially when so much effort was put in.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Client Service Representative
It was a three-round interview process, with each round featuring a different team member. It was pretty standard, mostly just general interview questions. Nothing too memorable. My interviews were conducted via Zoom at the time, and each session lasted about half an hour.
- In what ways would you leverage your previous experience for this role?
Graphic Visualiser
I was given a take-home task a week prior to the interview, which was to create a dashboard using BI software based on a short report about environmental studies. It was a fairly simple task. I then met with the team leader who was very friendly. He liked my work and asked about my degree since it wasn't directly in this field. They decided they needed someone with more experience. I didn't hear back after the interview. The travel to Twickenham from central London was quite far and took a lot of time. I was hoping for a proper email response.
- Can you tell me what you know about Haymarket Media group?
Project Executive
The interview process started with a discussion about you and your interest in content creation. This was followed by a section where you were asked to rate yourself on various skills and qualities. Next, you were given a task to develop a project plan, which included questions about the project itself and a mock customer email. The second stage involved interviews with Project Coordinators and Editors. Overall, the process was quick and enjoyable. However, it's been a month since the second interview, and there's been no further communication, even after requesting feedback. This is quite disappointing considering the effort put into the interview and the task.
- How do you approach task prioritization?
- Can you share an accomplishment you are proud of?
- Please rate your proficiency in the following skills on a scale of 1 to 10.
