First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hayes Locums.
Talent Acquisition Specialist
The director of talent acquisition contacted me on LinkedIn. It was quick and nice, and they told me to research the company, which was a bit unexpected since they reached out. I said I was interested and they scheduled a second interview with someone else in talent acquisition. I was excited after researching, but it was awkward because the interviewer seemed distracted and looked at other screens from the start. I think I answered the questions well, but I knew I wouldn't get an offer. It seems like a waste of time to set up second interviews if you already know you're not moving forward.
- Are you currently interviewing with other companies, and how do we compare?
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
- What would you consider your weakness?
Recruiter
I found out about Hayes Locums through Linkedin. They set up a phone call for me to learn more about the company and what I was looking for. It was a really relaxed and informative chat, and I enjoyed talking to the recruiter. We then scheduled a formal onsite interview. During the onsite, I met with the recruiter and then some managers. They reviewed my resume and experience, asked about my career aspirations, and why I was interested in Hayes Locums. The office vibe is pretty chill and fun! Overall, it was a great experience.
- What are your short-term and long-term career goals?
- What is your preferred management style?
Talent Acquisition Specialist
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME INTERVIEWING AT THIS COMPANY! They are scammers and will ghost you. I have several years in the industry and have been through a lot of interviews. They are extremely misleading in the process and will make you feel like you have the offer then go ghost. The questions in the interview were some of the most long and grueling questions I have had to answer. They want someone professional and corporate but have people representing the company who are the complete opposite. I will make sure to spread the word to my network and colleagues to never entertain this company. Complete waste of time. Learn to follow through as a Recruiter, you will only hurt your reputation and the company's. Extremely unprofessional if I could rate it negative stars I would.
- Tell me about a difficult situation you encountered at work that you couldn't resolve.
