I applied for the software engineer intern summer role. First, I got a standard Codility OA with two easy-to-medium LeetCode style questions. Not long after, I had a screening interview, but unfortunately, I didn't move forward after that.

After I applied, I first spoke to the recruiter/HR on the phone, which was pretty standard. Then, I got a programming assignment via email that I had 24 hours to finish. It was pretty tough, took me at least 3 hours. I guess I did okay because they invited me to their office for the final interview. That involved a technical interview with more C++ programming and whiteboard problems, and I also met with their head of technology.

Behavioral Technical System Design

The interview process was really quick, with three main steps. First, I had a chat with a recruiter who asked me about culture fit and some technical stuff. Then, I interviewed with the manager and another team member for a technical and cultural assessment. The final stage was a system design interview, which was quite tough because the problem involved sports knowledge and product insights. Overall, the entire process was super fast and enjoyable, though definitely a good challenge. Tom, the recruiter from Hawk-Eye, was great at keeping me in the loop, calling right after my interviews and answering all my questions. They also do background checks, and I got my contract the very next working day after accepting the offer.
