It was a 3-step process. First, two HR calls with general questions. Then, a call with the Manager where we discussed my previous experience and the role. They also asked about how I would handle assigned tasks, and they evaluated my fit based on my responses.

It was a really long process, like 5+ interviews. I did a bunch of phone calls first. Then they flew me out to Chicago for the in-person interviews. Honestly, I just sat waiting in a conference room for ages because nobody showed up. Eventually, my future boss, who was super awkward, interviewed me at a bar. And get this, he didn't even buy me a drink.
