I started with a call from an external recruiter. After that, I was invited to come in for an assessment day at their office. There were several tasks to do, and I also had a one-on-one interview. A good number of other candidates were there for the assessment. It was all pretty well organised. Then, the offer came through the recruiter.

after submitting my online application, I got a call for an interview. I then had an interview with the CSD which lasted over an hour. After my profile was approved by the CSD, I interviewed with my line manager for another hour. They confirmed my hiring the next day and sent an offer.

I had a screening call with the Talent Acquisition Manager who was really nice and went over my background. After that, I was supposed to talk to the Head of team, but the Talent Coordinator was a bit disorganized and only confirmed the time the day before. On the interview day, the Head of team was out of town, so I spoke with an Account Executive instead. During the interview, they asked standard questions but didn't seem very engaged with my answers, and there were some awkward silences. About 30 minutes after, the Talent Acquisition Manager sent an email saying they couldn't move forward based on feedback, with no details. When I asked for feedback, I was told I wasn't forthcoming and apparently said I needed a '30-60 day learning period', which I'm sure I didn't say. It was a negative experience, especially the feedback about something I claim I never said.
