First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hathaway Dinwiddie.
Assistant Project Manager
This was the second round interview where I met with a panel of 3 upper management folks. It was supposed to be 1.5hrs but some people were late and others had to leave early. They all seemed to be looking at my resume for the first time when we started, and the questions felt pretty standard.
- Can you introduce yourself and talk about the projects you've worked on? Which project did you like the most and why?
- Tell me about yourself. What projects have you been involved in? What was your favorite one and explain why.
- Can you give us an overview of yourself and your experience? Discuss some projects you've worked on. What was your favorite project and what made it stand out?
Project Engineer
The process involved talking with many team leads and visiting different job sites. After that, at each job site, there was an interview with various team leaders and other team members. Depending on the specific role you're going for, they'll ask about the particular task and scope you want to focus on. While not mandatory, it's beneficial to have an idea of your preferred specialization.
- What activities do you enjoy doing?
- In what ways can you contribute to the company?
- Could you tell us about the specific tasks and areas you are interested in specializing in?
Intern
I applied on linkedin then got an email to set up a phone interview. After the interview I got another call a couple weeks later with an offer, followed by a paper offer in the mail.
- Are you willing to relocate?
Preconstruction Engineer
The interview process involved four people asking questions, and I answered. The first two interviewers weren't very enthusiastic, but the other two were.
- Could you tell me why you chose to attend your university?
