Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hatch.
Civil Engineer
The interview process was pretty simple, chill, and really welcoming. The interviewer asked straightforward questions about my background, what I'm interested in, and my career aspirations. It felt more like a relaxed chat than a tense interview.
- Can you tell me about yourself, your qualifications, and your experience?
Structural Engineer
First, there was an online questionnaire and I had to record a video self-introduction. It was very straight forward with general questions to get to know about your personalities. The video recording cannot be retaken. After submitting, I waited for the second round of interview.
- Can you share one strength and one weakness regarding your work approach?
Structural Engineer
It was a pretty straightforward and speedy process. They asked stuff directly related to the job description. There were three panel interviews, each an hour long. I heard back the next day and got the offer within a week.
- Can you describe your past experiences and the types of projects you've worked on?
