Don't bother applying. After 6 interviews and a 40-hour case study, I got a generic email saying they chose someone else. Honestly, it's rude and disrespectful given the effort candidates put in. I even asked for feedback to improve, but got nothing. Some interviewers seemed clueless, asking questions they didn't understand themselves. A product marketing person gave me one-word answers and seemed distracted, like they were talking to others. The questions were weird, like asking for a super specific example of using a specific tool at a specific time to get a specific result.

I was supposed to have a phone interview, but the recruiter from Hashicorp totally ghosted me. I was looking forward to talking with everyone, but after they didn't call and completely ignored me after we had scheduled a phone interview for the week before, it really makes me think this company is not a good choice.
