Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Harvey & Company LLC.
Research Analyst
It started with a general phone screening. You really gotta show interest in the job description or they won't even bother with your resume. I got rejected for that reason. They mentioned that the research role requires a lot of attention to detail, so be ready for some quantitative questions.
- What about this job sparks your interest?
Research Analyst
The process was great. The staff were very personable, and most of the questions were behavioral, which usually turned into pleasant conversations. Overall, it was a great experience that made the candidate feel comfortable from the beginning. The HR and deal team members were experienced and knew how to evaluate candidates from the start. There were no technical interviews.
- Can you tell me about your past experience that is listed on your resume?
Research Analyst
The process was pretty relaxed and pretty normal overall. It included a behavioral interview. You might want to do some reading on the leveraged buyouts and acquisitions industry. Since clients are quite diverse, knowing about different sectors and markets could be useful. Information about manufacturing could also help because most clients are in industrial sectors.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
