I had an interview with someone who didn't seem to know what they were talking about. They asked some financial questions but didn't give much feedback, which made it seem like they didn't have any real answers. Then, I had to wait 45 minutes for a director to come in and ask about three questions that had already been asked. The director made a lot of eye contact, which felt a bit aggressive.

I put in my application through my school's career center website, and then an analyst called me the very next day. He asked me some basic stuff about my background and interests and pretty much just asked me to walk through my resume with him. Then he asked about my schedule preferences and when I was available. I had a second phone interview the next day with another analyst, and they asked me the same questions. Two days later, I got an offer via email.

I spoke with an analyst and an associate. The analyst conducted a phone interview that was about half an hour long. A week later, the associate contacted me for another interview, which was also about the same length. The conversations focused mostly on my resume and my market research background. They also asked me to pitch a stock, inquired about my understanding of private equity, and included some behavioral questions.
