Director
Interview with HR and Management, then the test. That was it for the interim position. Both chats were good and went for an hour. They took time to explain the role during the interview.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Could you describe some challenges you've faced?

Billing Specialist
Interviews were conducted over Microsoft Teams due to COVID. It kicked off on time with two friendly interviewers. Mark, one of them, was really passionate and spent a good chunk of time talking about the company and his work. He repeated some questions, phrasing them differently. Towards the end, he seemed a bit distracted, looking at papers and his computer. Mark focused on general experience and personal questions, while Ashley asked more specific questions about the role. The interview was good overall, but a bit repetitive and ran longer than needed.
- What makes you want this job?
- Can you share your past work experiences?
- You have finance and IT/Computer experience on your resume, can you explain how your previous experience aligns with this finance role?
Presentation Designer
The job ad said they preferred candidates in Boston or Philadelphia but were open to other states in the ET time zone. My state, Rhode Island, is an hour from Boston and in the Eastern Time Zone, so I didn't think my location would be a problem, especially since it was advertised as remote. I got a call from the recruiter, and when I told her I was in RI, she seemed unsure if it was on their list. She said she'd email me an invite for a phone screening later that day. I got the email right after hanging up and accepted it. But then, she sent a cancellation email saying, 'Sorry but Rhode Island is not included on our state list.' I was confused why she didn't check my location before calling and why they misrepresented the location requirements in the job description. The whole experience felt disorganized and unprofessional.

Vice President Sales
It was a series of 4 interviews with 11 people. They do an interview style of multiple people interviewing you at once. I would take a hard look at this company. The are in financial peril currently. They have been served notice that if they don't get their stock price above $1 for 30 consecutive days they will be delisted from the New York Stock Exchange (making it nearly impossible to get access to credit). They don't have the cash to do a stock buyback and they really do not have any assets beyond their call centers and fulfillment operations. So the likelihood of them being acquired is minimal. Their strategy is to become an ad agency and mar tech solution provider. They are trying to position themselves against Accenture, Deliotte, PWC and every digital/traditional ad agency. I don't think that is a great strategy. The senior leadership is trying to do something to turn the company around and that is commendable, but I don't think it is the right direction. They are pushing the "5 Pillars," which if you read are nothing more than common sense and just about everyone does it. I would think very hard before taking a job there or interviewing.
- Can you explain how your experience aligns with the requirements of this role?
