First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Harrison Clarke International.
Senior Recruiter
The entire interview process spanned about a week and involved meeting with the leadership team. I was particularly impressed by the thoroughness of the process. Juliette Shone was exceptional in managing it. My conversations with Qasim and Evan were eye-opening; their enthusiasm for the company and its culture was evident. The final interview with the CEO, Firas Sozan, was the highlight. I had researched his background beforehand and was struck by his thoughtful approach during the interview, which allowed me to ask numerous questions. It's clear that Firas is deeply invested in the business's success and takes the time to understand how Harrison Clarke can be a great opportunity for candidates.
- My advice is to be authentic, as the questions largely focused on personal growth and the mindset of successful individuals. The team is great!
Recruiter
I had an interview with Harrison Clarke in February 2022. I talked with leaders and a Senior Associate. The experience was great, and we discussed my career goals. Everyone at Harrison Clarke is wonderful. My final interview was with the CEO, Firas Sozan. I was very impressed with him. We had a great conversation about books because we both enjoy reading. The conversation was inspiring. I didn't receive an offer, but the experience was amazing, and Firas and the team were splendid. I'll reapply after applying their feedback. Awesome company!!!
- The questions were conversational, not textbook.
- The team really took the time to get to know me.
- I met with 5 people besides Juliette.
Recruitment Consultant
I had a phone screen, then an interview with an associate. After that, I interviewed with two associates, then a senior associate. The final interview was with the CEO, and all of this happened within a week. The interviews before the CEO went pretty well. The conversations were easy, and I felt like everyone enjoyed their work and meeting me. The CEO interview was the worst ever. They interrupted and corrected all my answers. The CEO didn't seem interested in my qualifications and asked personal questions about my childhood and my mother. They seemed disengaged and decided not to hire me during the interview. At one point, they asked me to re-answer the question about myself, saying 'who are you if I meet you in a bar? What would we talk about?' I felt the interview was very unprofessional.
- What motivates you?
- Describe yourself in a casual social setting like meeting at a bar.
- What topics would you discuss if we met at a bar?
