It started off like a typical startup interview, where I met with almost everyone. It was very conversational, and I felt like it was more about checking if I was a culture fit than if I had the right skills. But then things got a bit strange. I was eager to leave my old job, so I overlooked some warning signs. Every time I spoke with a leader, they kept asking if I was excited or on board with the role, which felt incredibly tedious, almost like they were testing my level of investment. There was a definite vibe of being a workaholic and always needing to be available. The questions suggested they didn't understand that good marketing takes time, and they seemed to expect immediate results, like I had a magic wand. I got an offer quickly, but then they ghosted me. I think it was because I couldn't give less than two weeks' notice to my previous employer and had some questions about the employment contract and benefits. I was a bit hesitant to write this review because they seem like the type of company that might retaliate. After reading other reviews, I realized I needed to add my experience to help future interviewees.

I had an initial interview with the person who contacted me on LinkedIn and conducted the screening. Unfortunately, I wasn't selected to advance. We had a long discussion about how Harrison Clarke is transparent in their recruitment process. However, the follow-up email stated, 'please note that we cannot provide application or interview feedback due to the volume of interest received.' It's a typical response, but after our chat, I'd suggest applicants to be skeptical of everything they're told about this company.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a really well-organized interview process. I started with a Zoom call with the Head of Talent. Then, over the next week, I met with two important leaders. My final meeting was with the CEO. The whole thing, from start to finish until the offer, only took two weeks. They communicated really well throughout, and my questions were answered quickly. It was an exceptional interview experience.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had a phone screen, then an interview with an associate. After that, I interviewed with two associates, then a senior associate. The final interview was with the CEO, and all of this happened within a week. The interviews before the CEO went pretty well. The conversations were easy, and I felt like everyone enjoyed their work and meeting me. The CEO interview was the worst ever. They interrupted and corrected all my answers. The CEO didn't seem interested in my qualifications and asked personal questions about my childhood and my mother. They seemed disengaged and decided not to hire me during the interview. At one point, they asked me to re-answer the question about myself, saying 'who are you if I meet you in a bar? What would we talk about?' I felt the interview was very unprofessional.
