Behavioral Technical

I had a quick 5-minute phone interview and then they scheduled me for an in-person interview two days later. During the in-person interview, I got asked a lot of behavioral questions that I think I answered pretty well. After that, the manager who interviewed me asked me to wait around to speak with another manager. This second manager called my name, introduced himself, and then just said, "tell me about yourself." He didn't give any intro or context, and I was taken aback by how abrupt he was. I mentioned I could work 5 out of 7 nights overnight, adding I could be flexible. He barely looked at me and just said, "oh you can't work two days"... I was really put off. As a former recruiter, I've never treated anyone like that. I thought the job was a good possibility after the first interview, but then he said, "we have a lot of applicants, we'll give you a call." It was the worst interview I've ever had. I was really disappointed because it felt like he had no interview skills and was just trying to find a reason not to hire me. I'm considering making a complaint because I felt disrespected. But maybe things happen for a reason, so I'm glad I don't have to work in a store with that guy as the manager.

First, they asked if I was qualified and capable for the job. Then I took a hiring survey. After that, we walked through the department for the specific job I was looking for. Finally, I met with the supervisor or manager for a brief chat.

The interviewer seemed really uninterested and was quite rude during the whole thing. They barely seemed to care about me, and even started chatting with a friend during the interview.
