First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Harris Teeter.
Pharmacist
They emailed me to ask my availability, and then emailed me the next business day with a time for the meeting. They then sent a zoom link for a virtual interview. There were some technical difficulties on their end, but the interview started about five minutes after the scheduled start time.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
Pharmacist
Applied online and got an email the next day from a recruiter. They sent a link to do a 'pre recorded online video interview' that was due in 3 days. Had to use a webcam, which was kind of weird, to answer 5 questions. The questions showed up, and I had about 60 seconds to prep before recording, with no do-overs. Each question had a time limit of around 1-4 minutes. I followed up the next Monday and they said they'd call if I qualified. Didn't hear back, maybe because I just graduated, was nervous about the video format, and talked too fast because of the timer.
- What made you decide to go into retail Pharmacy?
- What made you pick Harris Teeter instead of other community pharmacies?
- If asked, what would your previous employer or teacher identify as your weaknesses?
Pharmacist
It was a virtual interview where I had to pre-record my answers to some questions. There were about 6-8 questions in total, and each one had a specific time limit. It was a really good experience overall, and I liked being able to interview from home. The questions were fair and behavioral, so I could get ready for them before recording.
- Can you tell me what you know about our company and why you decided to apply here instead of other retail pharmacies?
