Behavioral Presentation Case

I went through 5 rounds: first with a recruiter, then internal HR, then the manager, then a director, and finally a role-play. I thought the role-play was a great final step, way better than just a presentation. They gave me a real sales deck, so I could see if it was something I could actually sell. Plus, they connected me with a current seller to help me get ready. Out of all the companies I interviewed with, this was the only one that let me talk to people already in the business, both during the interviews and even after I got the offer. That really made a difference for me.

Behavioral Case

Got a reach out from the recruiter about the role, seemed interested based on my background. They set up a 30 min call to check if I was a good fit. After that, there were 3 more phone interviews. Then they said the next step was a face-to-face interview. They asked me to fly to SFO with really short notice. I paid for the flight and hotel for 3 onsite meetings. All the meetings went great, and I asked everyone if they would support hiring me, and they all said yes. I flew home and waited for the offer, but never got one. I followed up with the recruiter, but he ghosted me. I sent an email thanking them and asking them to reimburse me for the flight, but still no reply. I left one voicemail and sent one text, still nothing. It's crazy how a company would treat a candidate like this. Such a waste of time and money!
