The interview process involved two main stages: an initial phone call and a subsequent visit. The visit included a demonstration lesson. Candidates also participated in a group discussion with the department members and had an individual meeting with the academic director. Following the interview, an offer was extended approximately three days later. There was a substantial conversation with the academic director regarding the role's responsibilities. The interview process was really poor. They asked me to do a data analysis task using data they provided. I was hesitant to start because we hadn't discussed salary, and I think it's important to be aligned on that before doing a task like this. I didn't get the job, but I suspect if we had talked about salary, I would have saved myself time. Thanks though, I'll use your data and my analysis for my portfolio.
