So I went for the HSBC Software Developer interview via campus placement. First, there was an online coding test with 2 questions — one about string decoding and the other about array logic. After passing that, I had two rounds. The first was a technical round where they focused on Java, DSA, and database concepts. Then came the HR round where they asked scenario-based questions, talked about my resume projects, and checked my communication and thought process. The whole thing was pretty structured and felt candidate-friendly.

The interview process typically involves several steps: First, a Written Exam to check aptitude, logic, and technical knowledge. Then, a Communication Round to see how well you talk and write. After that, a Technical Interview for deep dives into programming, problem-solving, data structures, algorithms, and specific tech knowledge. Lastly, an HR Round to check if you fit the culture, your career goals, and your behavior, like strengths, weaknesses, and alignment with the company.

Here's a quick look at how the interview process goes down at Soft Suave Technologies: First up, Step 1: Initial Screening (10-15 mins) - HR will give you a buzz to chat about your resume, what you've done, and what you're looking for. They'll hit you with some basic questions about your background, skills, and what you're into. Then, Step 2: Technical Round 1 (30-60 mins) - A tech whiz will hop on a call (phone or video) to check out your tech chops. Expect questions about your specialty, like coding languages, data structures, and algorithms. If you nail that, Step 3: Technical Round 2 (60-90 mins) - You'll get another tech interview. This one's gonna be tougher, testing your problem-solving skills, how you code, and your experience with certain tech. After that, Step 4: HR Round (30-60 mins) - HR will have a final chat to see how you communicate, your vibe, and if you're a good fit for the team. They'll ask about your career dreams, what you expect from the job, and why you want to work here. Finally, Step 5: Final Decision - Once all rounds are done, the interview crew will huddle up to talk about your performance and decide.
