Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hard Rock International.
Retail Sales Associate
The interview process was pretty straightforward. They mainly wanted to know if I had experience dealing with customers, what excellent customer service means to me, and how I'd handle some hypothetical situations. It was a pretty simple process.
- Are you okay with working shifts?
Sales Associate
The interviewer kept using the word "convince" when referring to people buying merchandise. That made me feel uncomfortable. She really used it at least 4 times. Like it's a job that involves pressuring people.
- Do you own personal transportation?
Sales Associate
There were two interviews, one with the supervisor/manager and another with the director. An English test was also part of it. The outcome of this interview is usually quick, within 3 days at most. The interview itself lasted for about 30 minutes. If you are accepted, there will be 4 days of training followed by a day of orientation.
- Do you speak English?
- Have you handled tourists before?
