Sales Associate
This role is pretty straightforward. You'll need to be able to handle a fast-paced environment and customer service, be comfortable with management, and pass a forklift certification. You'll also be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, helping customers with load outs, ringing up sales, going up and down ladders to fill top stock, and showing up on time.
- Are you able to work nights and lift more than 50 pounds?
Sales Associate
I applied for a seasonal position, but also interviewed for permanent employment, so I spoke with two different store managers. They used similar techniques, asking STAR method interview questions. The second interview was more in-depth. I liked the temporary job, and both interviewers were professional and ready for our meetings.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to complete a challenging task under a tight deadline?
Sales Associate
I was asked mostly behavioral questions about my past work experiences. They seemed really interested in me in person and said they would let me know about their decision, but it's been 3 weeks since then.
- Can you start by telling me about yourself?
- Describe a situation where you had to handle a disagreement with a coworker.
