Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hapag-Lloyd.
Intern
The interview process is pretty standard, like most places. You submit your resume, then have a one-on-one with HR and the Director. They ask typical questions. Since it's an internship, they're really focused on your motivation and passion. Just be yourself. They'll let you know if they want to move forward.
- What is your 5-year career plan?
Intern
The interview process had two stages. First, there was a screening for the vacancy, then a discussion about the conditions. The department director was very friendly and open to questions about the company, and so was the HR representative.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
- What do you hope to gain from this internship?
Intern
It was just one interview round with the HR, the hiring manager, and a member of the hiring department. The interviewers asked technical questions, not common ones.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you describe a past project you worked on and your contribution to it?
