First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hapag-Lloyd.
Customer Service Representative
I filled out an online application and then got a call for a Teams interview. I then had an interview with the same HR rep that called me. They were new to the company and couldn't answer all my questions, but they were nice.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
Customer Service Representative
First, I submitted my resume and it was accepted. Then, I had to take a behavioral and cognitive test, which I passed. After that, I interviewed with a manager and a supervisor. The behavioral test was a standard self-diagnostic type, and the cognitive test was similar to an old fluid intelligence test, though they probably wouldn't label it that way.
- What are your 5-year career aspirations?
Customer Service Representative
I went through two interview sessions. Both were panel interviews with a manager and an HR person. They asked a lot of questions, and some were repeated. They preferred concise answers focused on the questions, and short, supportive answers were beneficial. The final decision took about a month, so patience was needed.
