Cloud Engineer
So basically after getting shortlisted, then they send a link for Aptitude+ Coding round test. I can call it a little bit complex round because of time limitation. Because within one hour you have to solve 30 MCQ questions and 2 coding questions which are one is Medium level and second is High level. After that there is GD round followed where they gave some topics and then you have to speak. After that there is technical Round where they asked questions from project, core subjects mainly focus on DBMS and little bit DSA also. Than finally HR round which is very easy because they just asked Why you want to join our company....etc. you can search it on Google. And that's it you get your offer letter after one week.
- The first round is an Aptitude + Coding test where you have 1 hour to solve 30 MCQs and 2 coding questions (Medium and High difficulty).
- Next is a Group Discussion where you'll be given topics to speak about.
- Following that is a Technical Round focusing on DBMS and some DSA, along with questions about your projects and core subjects.

So, I got selected by Hanu Software Solutions for a PAAS/IAAS/Data Engineer role for a package of 6 LPA. The whole onboarding process was super smooth and it took a total of 3 days. The interview process had a few rounds: First, there was an Online Assessment Round which was an elimination round. It had 11 sections with questions on Aptitude, Logic, Quant, English, OS, SQL, and 2 coding questions. From 148 students, 44 made it through. Next, we had a Group Discussion Round, also an elimination round. It was pretty easy; we were given a current affairs topic, 'Cashless Economy,' and after a 30-second intro, we started the discussion. 20 out of 44 got selected. Then came the HR interview, another elimination round. This happened after a Pre-Placement talk. The HR asked standard questions like 'Tell me about yourself,' 'family background,' 'What excites you about Cloud?', 'What is Cloud Computing?', 'What is TCP/IP?', 'What is the Waterfall model?', 'Why Hanu?', and 'current location?'. 10 out of 20 were selected. After that, we had the Technical interview, which was elimination too, and it ranged from easy to difficult. They asked about my comfortable programming language and then questions from that language, like 'Why Java is more secure?', 'inheritance types?', 'multiple inheritance support in Java?', 'Abstract class vs general class', 'stack and queue concepts', 'how to implement a queue', 'relational vs non-relational databases', and 'if an Excel sheet is a relational database', and 'types of constructors'. 6 out of 10 passed this. Finally, there was a Psychometric Test, which wasn't an elimination round. It had 30 behavioral questions and was quite easy. I got selected!
- What is it about Cloud that excites you?
- What are your thoughts on a cashless economy?
Platform as a Service Developer
First, there was an online test with some aptitude and logical reasoning questions, plus two coding questions. The coding part was moderately difficult, but the rest was easy. Then, a group discussion (GD) round with about 10 students and one moderator, which was pretty easy, just focus on how you dress, your posture, and what you say. You don't need to talk much, but what you say should be meaningful. After that, there were 2 interview rounds with basic discussions, followed by an HR interview.
- Can you compare C and C++?
- Can you identify which option represents a bottom-up approach?
- Could you describe C++ and its features?
Citrix Engineer
They called me for an interview and my first technical interview was really awesome. I answered 100 percent correctly for all questions, and the interviewer was so impressed he shortlisted me for the second round. The HR, however, was hilarious and didn't have the basic etiquette to call and give feedback. When I called the next day, she told me I had been shortlisted for round 2. After 2 days, they scheduled my second round interview. The manager interviewed me again; it was a good discussion. He didn't ask many technical questions, but mostly about my roles and responsibilities and salary. He asked about many scenario-based questions regarding normal issues, which I explained well. The interview finished in 20 minutes. The next day, I called the HR multiple times for feedback, but there was no response, either on call or SMS. This proved that this company lacks standards, as they took so much of my time but couldn't even give feedback. The HR and manager lacked basic professionalism and courtesy. I later found out they had budget problems and couldn't afford me.
- Give me reasons why you believe you should be hired.
- Explain why the company should be willing to wait for your two-month notice period.
- What are your salary expectations?
