The whole hiring thing took a really long time. I had two interviews and then didn't hear anything back for like a month after each one. Everyone I talked to was really nice and helpful though, I just wish it went faster and they communicated better.

The interview process was very open book and not high pressure. The questions and screening were reasonable. The employees were helpful during the screening and gave advice on how to succeed at the workplace. I would work with them.

I had a phone chat with a recruiter about potential jobs. He asked me about my history, gave me the lowdown on the company. He stressed that good work-life balance was achievable but also warned about 70-hour weeks and working Saturdays. He also dropped some red flags. The PTO was pretty weak, but he mentioned I could take time off for appointments without it being logged. No remote work was an option. He really pushed the salary of $75,000, which sounds good until you realize with the crazy hours, it's not that great. He seemed really keen and suggested I'd hear back within a week. That was over a month ago, and I never got another word. After the interview, I did some more digging because something felt off, and it all made sense why it seemed strange.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a pretty standard interview process. Not too technical, the interviewer was very personable, and the questions weren't difficult. There were 3 rounds. The first round focused on character-based questions and selling yourself. The second round was mainly an introduction to the position with some advanced questions. The third round involved a half-day shadow to get familiar with the company. It felt pretty fair and standard, and they were surprisingly transparent about the job's difficulty and requirements.
