This whole thing was way too long. I did multiple projects over several weeks, and then they said they were still considering other people and the process wasn't finished. Super unprofessional. Plus, the HR person was ditzy and the interviewers seemed uninterested. I'd have to write a novel to describe the full process, but it was about 7 steps, and I had to practically beg for feedback. Honestly, at one point I thought it was a joke.

First there was a quick phone chat with a recruiter, just standard questions for the job description. Then, they emailed me saying they wanted to proceed and I had to do an assignment. The assignment was fun but took a lot of time, so be careful if you're busy. After more than a week, they let me know they didn't want to interview me anymore. I was bummed, but appreciated the person I was talking to for being quick and keeping me updated on the timeline. There was a small hiccup at the end where they offered to explain their decision, I said yes, but never got the info, maybe a super recruiter would do that. But honestly, I think I might have dodged a bullet. I only checked employee reviews after getting rejected and was shocked! The work sounds cool, but tons of employees say they had bad experiences there, so it's probably not a fluke. I think there might be some issues with how things are run that management needs to fix. So, even though the interview itself was okay, I'd really suggest checking out the reviews first. Don't let others decide for you, but there's likely truth to what they're saying. You'll find a job, don't settle if you're unsure!

The whole thing took about three weeks, starting in February. After I applied, I had a quick chat with a recruiter who was super nice. Then, I had a week to finish a homework assignment. After that, I had two phone interviews, one with some higher-ups and another with an associate who just started. I also had an employee referral, which really helped get my application looked at. My advice? Everyone's really friendly but also really smart, so make sure you're prepared.
