I had a phone interview set up with HR. On the day of my interview, my interviewer had to cancel last minute and reschedule, which was understandable. Eventually, I got to speak with an HR person. They were nice and easy to talk to, and I felt the interview went well. After a couple of weeks with no word, I followed up and was told the position was no longer open. It felt like a waste of time. Also, be aware their starting salary is very low. It seems like they have high turnover, so people who stay get promoted quickly. Lots of shocking reviews on Glassdoor, check them out before applying.

I was a bit nervous for my initial phone screen but the recruiter put me right at ease. She was friendly, informative and answered all of my questions. Interviewing at other companies has sometimes made me feel like just a number/rushed but that was not the case with Hanover. Next, I moved on to the "research assessment" which was difficult to juggle school work and complete at the same time. I heard back after a few days that they were moving forward with other candidates. I was disappointed not to receive an offer, but I found the interview process very pleasant nonetheless.

After applying online, I had two rounds of interviews. First, I got an online assessment within a week that was pretty interesting and not too difficult. Then, about a week and a half after finishing the assessment, I had a phone interview with a recruiter. The call was supposed to be 30 minutes but ended up being about an hour long. The recruiter was really nice and easy to talk to. She did a great job explaining what Hanover does. She also seemed genuinely interested in how I could contribute to Hanover and which team would best fit my interests. There weren't any strange questions, and the conversation flowed well with everything connecting. It felt like Hanover really focuses on finding the best match for both the company and the role, while still valuing each person's individuality and passion.
