Applied for Market Research but was suggested a Survey Design role. The first stage was an online assessment lasting about 55 minutes, focusing on personality and odd-one-out questions. After two weeks, I had a 30-minute HR interview where they were happy to proceed. The next round was a Survey Assessment, involving survey data and questions. While the questions were clear, the expectation for the written answers (analysis vs. client presentation focus) was vague. I spent about 8 hours over 4 days on this assessment and submitted it. A week later, I was rejected due to a perceived lack of client-side presentation and writing experience, which I felt was unfair given the time spent on analysis. The whole process took a month, and I felt my time was wasted.

So, I haven't heard back about an offer yet because my interview just happened, but they said I should hear back within a week. The process started with a resume and cover letter review, then a phone call, followed by a data assignment, and finally a Skype interview with the team. Things moved along about a week at a time. Nothing too wild in the last interview, questions were on point for the job. No weird math or data brain teasers. It was a little surprising that they didn't focus too much on the data task itself, but I'd still make sure you're ready to talk about how you handled that assignment.

After submitting your application, you'll take a personality test. If you have a referral, you can skip this part. Then, you'll submit a writing sample, specifically a quant paper if you're applying for a quant role. Following that, there's a brief phone interview. Next, you'll receive a homework assignment. If you pass that, you'll interview with the quant manager, an assistant quant manager, and the head of a relevant department (higher ed, k-12, or enterprise).
