The interview process was very streamlined and curated. It was an onsite interview and requires a bit of preparation around the basic idea of Machine learning and modelling. No experience is required but having one increases your chances.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was terrible. One interviewer didn't even show up, and another was an hour late. The one who did show up on time was super unprofessional. They completely dismissed and invalidated my expertise, even though it was supposed to be the main requirement for the job. They apparently hadn't even read my CV and kept asking about a skill I don't have and wasn't even a big deal in the job listing. To top it off, they aggressively questioned my salary expectations, which were just standard for my qualifications. When I pointed out that the skill they were fixated on wasn't my expertise as per my CV, they got offended and then lectured me on needing to be diplomatic in this team. Honestly, the worst interview ever, a total waste of 1.5 hours.

Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

I went through 2 interviews. The first was over zoom with the team, and the second was with senior management, also over zoom. Both interviews were conversational, and everyone was super friendly and approachable. However, you could tell they were really smart and knew their stuff. The first panel had the manager (who's an actuary), a research statistician with a PhD, and an HR person. The second panel had the same HR person and someone from senior management (also an actuary). Having the same HR person in both made the second one feel a lot more comfortable.
