The interview was pretty simple, with basic "tell me about yourself" style questions. They were mainly focused on how well you handle customers, if you can be flexible when things change, and if you're dependable. Basically, they want to know you'll actually show up for your work, be nice to shoppers, and do what they ask.

Great interview process, made it to the final selection. They were super upfront and communicative about the process and when candidates could potentially start. The final group of candidates had roughly 20 people, but only about half were offered. It did seem like there was some internal bias based on the percentage of the group who were interviewed and offered.

The interview was pretty short, maybe just one question about my experience, though I felt I was overqualified. They also asked about my availability and the hours I could work. They explained what the job entails. They asked about my stance on diversity and how I handle it. I said I'm fine working with everyone, but then they asked what I've done to support the LGBT community. I felt that was a bit much to ask someone to have done volunteer work for in their free time, but I answered as best I could without making things up.

After applying online, it was easy to set up an interview. I met with the hiring manager for a basic interview that asked vague questions. The manager's tone was not enjoyable and the pay offered was very low. Although I never officially accepted the job, about a week after the interview, I was called and told my orientation was the next Wednesday and I was expected to be there. I found this rude because I hadn't formally accepted. It doesn't seem like a place I'd like to work.
