It wasn't a long process. It was very casual. I met with two recruitment attorneys who asked me about my personality and experience. Neither of them worked at the office where I had my interview. The whole thing took about 30 minutes.

I went through a few rounds talking to staff and partners. The managing partner and senior partners did a group interview. They were upfront about expectations and were nice to me. It was a good experience, though I didn't get the job.

Behavioral Other

The interview process varies a lot by office. At ours, it was pretty bad. Sometimes, the partners who do the interviewing wouldn't even be in the office when they were scheduled to meet with candidates. They'd cancel interviews at the last minute. It's just not a consistent process. Nepotism is also an issue.

I had an interview with four different partners from different offices all at the same time. It was like a roundtable where they all asked questions. They did a lot of small talk, so make sure you're ready for that.
