Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Handel Architects.
Interior Designer
The interview process felt a bit uncertain. While I could share more details about my experience, it seems there's no real drive or enthusiasm to grow their interior design team. It looks like they're more comfortable sticking to how things have always been done.
- Were you involved in FF&E or procurement?
- Can you describe a design problem you faced and how you resolved it?
Designer
It went very smoothly beginning with a bit of icebreaking, some questions on my portfolio, and general work experience so far. The interviewer explained a bit what projects are going on currently - and I learned each office has a bit of different typologies.
- Can you tell me about your proficiency with Revit?
Junior Designer
It was a short interview, about 20 minutes long. We chatted about my resume and portfolio that I worked on during college and at my previous company. They also asked about my program skills.
- Why did you choose to apply to Handel?
