Behavioral Presentation

I applied online and got a call from the location owner in a couple of days. We chatted on the phone to get to know each other and then scheduled a formal interview. A couple of weeks later, we met in a casual, low-pressure setting. The owners were friendly but professional. They described the job, what they needed, and asked about our skills, experience, and knowledge. I answered everything I could. We also discussed my past work, my education, and my future aspirations. After the interview, they said they'd be in touch, and they emailed me with an offer a few days later. They were quick to get back to me.

Behavioral

It was a quick phone interview first, then a 30-minute in-person interview a few days later. I initially thought it was a great fit because everyone was so friendly, but I was mistaken. I had to go out of town for a few days, and when I returned, we were supposed to discuss my start date. I was led to believe I'd be contacted about job details while I was away. They already had me on the schedule, but I heard nothing. The manager completely vanished. I emailed with no response, then called and left a message, and the person at the front desk was really standoffish. Hours later, I got a lazy email saying I couldn't be hired right now but might be considered for a different location in a few months, with no explanation. This happened the day before I was supposed to start. After days of no communication, I got a last-minute email. They had days to contact me and didn't, handling it unprofessionally. I had already quit my previous job, thinking I was starting there, but I was misled.

Behavioral Technical

I filled out a paper application and then went in to meet the manager. The atmosphere was really friendly. We talked about my availability and how long I planned to work there. We also discussed how the salary and commission work. They showed me the computer system they use, called Millenium, and I got a quick rundown on how to use it. I started working there a week later.
