Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Halodoc.
Software Engineer Intern
The whole process was pretty good and smooth. Most of the interviewers were friendly, though not all. My friends had different types of interviewers, but mine wasn't one of the friendly ones. He started off nicely and asked for a brief introduction. The interview could have gone well if he was more focused on selecting candidates rather than making them feel inadequate. Interestingly, only that one person didn't select anyone for the role. So, if you know, you know.

Software Engineer
The interview process had a total of 5 rounds. The first round was DSA. The second was a machine coding / LLD round. The third was HLD. The fourth was with the hiring manager. The fifth was with HR. They cover all the areas a software engineer should know, like DSA, databases, multi threading, API design, monitoring, production systems, microservices, document design, and code reviews. The feedback after each interview is super detailed, pointing out what went well and what could be improved. The interviewers were really understanding, knew their stuff, and even gave hints.
- One of the DSA questions asked was to find the median of two sorted arrays.
Software Development Engineer
The interview experience was truly exceptional. The interviewers were incredibly friendly and created a comfortable atmosphere that made me feel at ease. Throughout the process, I never felt pressured, allowing me to perform at my best. The interview consisted of three rounds. The first round was the technical round, which lasted approximately 45 minutes. The second round was the managerial round, lasting around 50 minutes. The final round was the HR round, which lasted about 15 minutes. Overall, the questions posed during the interview were of moderate difficulty, and I was able to confidently answer most of them. I am grateful for the positive experience and the opportunity to engage with such a supportive and professional interview panel.
