The hiring process started with the application, then there was a phone screening, followed by a written assessment, and finally one more interview, which was one-on-one, to check skills and cultural fit. The process included introductions, gathering and asking for information, talking about the role, and I got to ask questions too.

My job offer was rescinded without any compensation or explanation, which happened a month after I accepted it and was about to resign from my current job. It was a quick call followed by an immediate rescinding letter, without any clarification from the manager. I had already rejected other offers, told my current supervisor, and informed my family about my decision. Everyone knows how much a candidate can lose in such a scenario.

I applied online back in June. After a couple of calls in July and August, I received an email in September to set up a phone interview. I spoke with the team lead, who was a Sr. Technical lead with a PhD in Chemistry. They asked for details about my resume, and the call lasted about 20 minutes. I heard back the next day to schedule an onsite visit. I traveled to Houston in early October. They said they liked my past experience and were looking for someone with my background. I met with 8 team members, including Sr. Chemists and team leads. Most questions focused on my previous work and how I'd fit into the team. It wasn't too difficult, pretty casual. I had lunch with some team members and then finished the interview with a Sr. Scientist who also handled HR. It was a very positive experience. I got a response within a week. The HR person mentioned the team was interested in hiring me, but visa restrictions prevented it. Otherwise, it was a very casual interview process. The advice is to be confident, show your genuine interest in the role and company, and don't hesitate to ask questions.
