First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at H3 Concepts.
PR Assistant
I interviewed at H3 Concepts Inc. in San Antonio, TX. I was interviewed by Sandy, a national trainer with 7 years at the company. She was friendly and direct. They are upfront about new employees doing face-to-face solicitation for brands. They have many branch offices nationally and in Canada, each run by people who started in sales and moved up. Sandy mentioned opportunities for promotion to management and training within months or weeks. The hours are long, typically 8:30-6 Monday-Friday and 9-4 on Saturdays, which they say leads to quicker promotions and skill development. A typical day involves morning meetings/training and afternoon product sales visits. Regarding negative Glassdoor reviews, Sandy advised not to overemphasize them, noting her own initial warning about the company being a scam proved false. As I graduate in June, they suggested emailing in a few months for a second interview, usually held the next day. While I'm not a personal fit, I don't see them as a bad company. If you're willing to work long hours and approach people for sales, give them a chance. The people I met in San Antonio seemed lovely.
- I honestly can't recall the exact questions, but they were not unreasonable.

Account Manager
The interview process was a bit unexpected since I thought it was for an office job, but it turned out to be for a door-to-door makeup sales position. It kicked off with a straightforward behavioral interview with the company's director. While the receptionist and the director were friendly, the office environment felt unprofessional, with young staff (early to late 20s) dressed in a casual version of business professional attire. The next day involved observing a salesperson go door-to-door selling makeup. Following the observation, there was a third interview round where, if they liked you, they'd offer the job on the spot. This role seems suitable for recent high school grads or college students but not for someone pursuing a professional career. I also experienced a long wait (over an hour) for my interview, during which I could hear loud music from the office and the director was frequently engaged with his employees, extending my wait. Despite the negative overall experience and the feeling of it being a corporate pyramid scheme, the employees themselves were very nice.
- How enthusiastic are you on a scale from 1 to 10?
Intern
This interview was pretty legit. I am currently in school and my schedule works out perfect for this firm. I really like the fact that it's not door to door sales. I read a review on here that said it was door to door so that was the first question I asked. It is strictly Business 2 Business/Face to Face so there is much more professionalism involved "Thank god" haha. I even asked a current employee if they do door to door and she confirmed they do not in any shape form or fashion. I enjoyed the entire interview and it was straight forward. Cross fingers and hope I get it!
- On a scale from 1 to 10, how would you rate your work ethic?
Sales Representative
So, there were 3 interviews total. First one was to see if the job was what I was looking for, but they kind of lied about parts of it. Then the second one, I went into the field and visited one of their stores to see how they do business. Really, it was to see how I solicit products at random businesses. The last one was a more in-depth interview about my character and why I want to work for them.
- How would your friends and family describe you in one word?
- What makes you think you'd be good at this job?
