Marketing Assistant
So when you get there, the receptionist, who's also in HR, has you fill out some paperwork with your basic info and previous jobs. They had loud music playing and the receptionist was on the phone, either calling people to come in or doing phone interviews on the spot. You're in a room with another company that's interviewing people too. Then, the CEO calls you in for your interview.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- What's been your greatest achievement in school or at work?
- Describe your ideal job.
Marketing Assistant
I submitted my application online and got a call the very next day. They said I could interview the following day, which was a Saturday. The first interview was super short, maybe 10 minutes. They mentioned I'd hear back that same afternoon if I moved on. I got a call and was invited for a second interview on the next business day. At that point, there were 5 of us waiting, and we were taken to a room for a briefing about the company and the role, which turned out to be more of a sales position. After that, we had to complete a personality test and some written questions. Later, we were interviewed in pairs. I wasn't expecting to get the job because the other candidate seemed more qualified, but I got a call the same day and they offered me the position.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
- What qualities define a good leader?
Marketing Assistant
I applied online and got an email for an interview. I replied to accept and they sent back a day and a time range. I picked 2 pm and they scheduled me for 2:15 pm. I was a bit late, 10-15 minutes. They had me fill out a form with info from my resume, which I had to bring. After waiting nearly 30 minutes, they called me and another candidate in together for the interview. This group format was unexpected, but I did my best with the simple questions.
- Can you talk about your past work experience?
- Where do you envision yourself in the next five years?
- What does leadership signify to you?
