First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at H&R Block.
Intern
It was a behavioral interview where they asked me about my resume and why I'm interested in this company. They also asked the usual behavioral questions, like 'tell me about yourself,' what my greatest strengths are, and my weaknesses. Overall, it wasn't too bad, and the people I met were really nice and friendly.
- Can you discuss your strengths and weaknesses?
IT Intern
It was a good, non-technical interview. They asked basic questions. It was conversational and light. It started with a screening call and then I talked to a senior engineer. We went through my resume. The interview process was very chill and they were fast at getting back to me.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you tell me about the projects you've worked on?
- Can you give me a run-through of your resume?
Intern
It started with a 30-minute call with a recruiter to talk about my background and the job. I also got to ask about the company culture and role expectations. Then, I had a virtual panel interview with two managers from the department.
- Describe an instance where you collaborated within a team.
