Applied online and got a call less than a week later for an interview. Went to the store and waited about 30 minutes for the assistant manager to interview me because she lost my application. The interview was in the noisy middle of the mall and lasted about 40 minutes. I was told I'd hear back from the head manager the next day for a second interview, but I never did. I called back to check on the job and was basically told I didn't get it. I didn't like the assistant manager's snobby attitude.

I recently interviewed with a new gymboree store in Maryland. The hiring manager was really nice and made me feel comfortable, even though I was nervous. I was expecting a group interview, but it ended up being a one-on-one. I brought my cover letter, resume, and printed application, which I think she liked. The interview was about 30 minutes and went really well. She said she'd call in a week, but I actually got a job offer the next day! The hiring and interview process was great, and the company seems really attentive. I'm excited to join the team!
