Behavioral

It was a simple process, an in-person behavioral interview with 3 back-to-back 30-minute sessions. They asked questions about habits, organizational skills, and communication. They don't expect you to know much about the reinsurance industry or the role when you start.

The whole process kicked off with a Hirevue interview with roughly 5 questions and also 3 Hirevue "games." They put on two Zoom events for people who were interested in Guy Carp and prospective candidates: 1) Reinsurance Overview and 2) Exploring Pathways. These probably don't impact your chances at all. They mention that each office has its own interview timeline, but they don't actually share any of them. Communication isn't their strong suit, so expect long waits between interviews and after you send emails. They're all super nice though.

Behavioral Technical

I was contacted to schedule the interview, and two days later I had a call with HR, which was very relaxed and made me feel comfortable. After that, there was a second phase, a conversation with the managers. It wasn't bad, but I didn't feel as comfortable as I did with HR. In both interviews, they asked about my course, expected graduation year, availability, and explained the workflow. What disappointed me was the lack of feedback on the process; I find it disrespectful to the candidate.
