First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Guggenheim Partners.
Executive Assistant
The interview process was straightforward, with pretty basic questions for an administrative role. I met three managers, and all interactions were great and not intimidating. Just be yourself, and good luck!
- What skills do you possess that would benefit the team?
Administrative Assistant
I spent a week preparing. I knew their mission and values really well. The phone interview was super short, only 2 minutes. They asked me what I liked about the position. I told them about the chance to work with the partners and learn about the different departments. They thanked me and said that was all. I guess my answer wasn't what they were looking for. I got an email saying they were happy to have discussed the role with me and hoped I learned something.
- What do you like about the role?
Executive Assistant
I interviewed with the Senior Managing Director for New York, USA Operations. Instead of talking to HR first, I met the person I'd be working for right away. The interview focused a lot on the director's history, not really the job itself. Also, the role turned out to be different from what the headhunter had described in detail.
- Why are you looking to leave your current position after being there for over 12 years?
