I had one interview and I was able to negotiate my salary. It started with a phone call, and then I got an email to set it up. The interview itself lasted about 30 minutes. I think I was overqualified for the position.

First, I had a chat with HR, which was a good one. Then, I met with the sales point manager and director. Two people were there: one was very open and easy to talk to, the other was much more closed off. One of them was not very professional – didn't listen during the interview and made me repeat myself several times on a topic that wasn't really relevant, even though I'd already answered in detail each time. They asked a lot of questions sarcastically. I won't even mention the welcome or how my CV was folded up like scrap paper when I arrived. I've had many interviews in my career, but this is the first time I felt like my presence wasn't wanted. They didn't assess my language skills, which for this role, is important. At the end, they asked about references. I gave them a recent contact. The interviewer then said they would rather contact brands X and Y to get references, even though one of those companies was from over 5 years ago.

After an initial phone call, I had a basic HR interview, which included a part in English. Then, I had a second interview in the store with a manager, where they asked standard questions. This was for a one-month sales internship during the holiday season, applied for on fashionjob.
