It all started with LinkedIn, where a recruiter reached out. We then had a 30-minute call where she talked about the company and the role. After that, I had a technical phone screen that lasted about an hour. It involved questions about my experience and some technical challenges, plus a live coding task. Then came the take-home part: I had to build a file parsing program with a Web API and tests, which took me about 2-3 hours to code and upload to GitHub. The final stage was the on-site interview, which was pretty long, around 6 hours. They kicked things off by offering lunch. The day was split into hour-long segments. We went over the code I submitted, did a whiteboard session, and then discussed behavioral questions. I noticed they were asking the same questions to different people. It was a really long interview process overall.

I passed that and was given a take-home assignment focused on REST APIs, which I could do in any language. After submitting the take-home, I was invited for an onsite interview that was pretty long, about 6 hours. The entire onsite was just behavioral questions, with no break for lunch, and they even asked questions during meal times. To top it off, during breaks between interviews, I was kicked out of the reserved conference room because another group claimed they had a meeting. They said I'd get feedback in 1-2 days, but it's been a week and still no word.
