This was easily the most insulting interview process I've ever been through. However, it gave me good insight into the way the marketing department works, where everything is done by committee and nobody ever has to take responsibility for anything. What I was told was a three-step interview process stretched out to five one-hour interviews without explanation. There was no rhyme or reason to the process, as I was asked the same questions every time. In my final interview with the CMO, I was asked questions that were impossible to answer without knowledge of the company's inner workings and politics. After that, I waited a month for an answer. The recruiter gave me one deadline after another that came and went, never providing updates unless I chased her down. When I finally at long last got the answer, I was told there would be no feedback provided. So for a two-month process, one month just waiting for an answer, I couldn’t get some basic courtesy and appreciation for my time.

Great communication, not too long! The recruiter kept me informed every step of the way. There were 4 interviews total: Screen, Hiring Manager, Peer, Skip Level, and HR. Each one offered a unique perspective.

The interview process was quite extensive. I had six forty minute interviews. I found the further along the interview process that I had gotten, the more I knew that I wanted to work here. I had six very informative conversations with six fantastic ladies. All who explained the mission of the company and what a great work culture they had here and how they are all like family. They asked me some pretty tough questions. But it was more like a conversation. If they are a representation of what kind of people work here, then I am impressed. Sign me up!

The interview process was great - very well organized, efficient, professional, and pleasant. The Talent Acquisition Manager was so helpful. I clearly knew what to expect at each step of the process and he was always available to answer any questions. I first met with him, then the hiring manager, and then several other relevant team members. All my interviews were conducted remotely through Microsoft Teams. I'm really happy to have accepted an offer with GS1 US!
