I went through the selection process for the Junior Lawyer position. The initial steps were fine, and HR communicated well. However, the technical interview with management was really bad and not like the previous stages. During the talk, it wasn't professional, they kept interrupting me so I couldn't properly talk about my background, skills, and experience, including extra training and postgraduate studies. At one point, the interviewer just left the room without any explanation, which was awkward and made me feel insecure. Also, some questions were asked badly, with unprofessional reactions like laughing at my answers. The way it was handled made me feel bad about the work environment and team culture, especially regarding communication, respect, and how they value candidates. Because of this, I decided to drop out of the process.

First, there was a recruiter call. Then, the technical part had two sections: 1. Live coding, like HackerRank, I don't remember the problem, but it was simple. 2. Whiteboard system design to build an event tracking system. After the technical interviews, there was another interview with a manager where they asked about culture, processes, etc.

I was approached by the recruiter and had a chat with them, then I spoke with the Design Manager, and finally, I presented a case study to the manager and two other designers from the team. The whole process was really nice, the recruiter was attentive and provided full support throughout the stages. Unfortunately, after completing all the interviews, I never received any follow-up about the process or the position.

The interview process was really human-friendly and made me feel super welcome and respected. From the start, the team's friendliness and professionalism made me feel comfortable through all the steps. It was cool how they avoided awkward questions and were really empathetic, showing they respect candidates a lot. I also really liked how fast the process was. They finished the stages quickly and were flexible about me leaving my current job, which showed they cared about my well-being and situation. Another thing that stood out was how clearly they talked about the company's expectations and values. They made sure the company values matched my personal principles, which was transparent and showed they're serious about having an ethical culture that supports personal and professional growth.
