Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Grupo Casas Bahia.
Administrative Assistant
The interview was straightforward, just an introduction about my name, where I live, my age, and my experiences, and why I want to work at VIA. I did the process in September and still haven't received any feedback, positive or negative. It's quite disrespectful to the candidates.
- Could you introduce yourself, state where you live, your age, and share your experiences, and also explain why you are interested in working at VIA?
Administrative Assistant
I applied through Gupy, and the HR from VIA called me to schedule an interview for ASAPLOG. The HR was really nice and even gave me tips on how to prepare. However, the interviewer was terrible. They couldn't provide any information about benefits or work hours. The HR mentioned working every other Saturday, but the interviewer said they couldn't give more details because they were trying to keep Saturday work to just 4 hours, and that in the future, it might become a full 8-hour day. I didn't really get it. Also, when I was asked why I wanted to switch companies, I mentioned I'd been following VIA for a while on social media and news. This seemed to irritate the interviewer, who said that even though ASAPLOG was acquired by VIA, it would operate independently (?). They spent the whole time typing and not paying attention to me, and they were late for the remote interview.
- What makes you want to be a part of Asap log?
- What's your motivation for seeking a new job opportunity?
- Can you tell me about your interest in VIA?
Auxiliar Administrativo
Super chill, it was really a two-way conversation. The environment was also really nice, great for anyone who finds interviews difficult! It's done differently depending on the role chosen, but it's usually in just one stage.
- Where do you live?
- Tell me about your experiences.
- What about your customs and so on?
