The recruiter round was very human, she managed to convey the company culture and clearly prepare me for the next steps. Very different from other processes I've been through. The interview with the person from the area also happened very respectfully, but with a very different vibe than the recruiter phase.
- Could you tell me about yourself?
Specialist
I applied through LinkedIn and they called me for an interview. First, I spoke with HR, and then I had to present a case to the manager. The presentation went great, it was about a new technology to be implemented. Afterwards, I received feedback from HR that I was well-evaluated, but they decided to hire someone internally. In this case, I found it a bit inconsistent since someone from within the company already has a much more detailed view of the technologies used, especially of a very specific technology.
- Which metric would you evaluate first in the action plan?
Specialist
It takes a very long time to get feedback on the stages. The recruiters don't seem to like being asked about the process. When you do get feedback, you have to adapt quickly to their deadlines. They often leave you in the dark, even though you can see on Gupy (a platform with a terrible user experience) that other people are very far along in the process. I once heard from a recruiter that they changed the profile of the job to fit someone recommended by leadership, after months of process.
- Tell me about yourself? Why do you want to change companies?
- Tell me about yourself? Why are you looking to switch jobs?
