Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Grupo Boticário.
Analyst
I participated in a selection process at the group, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet the positive expectation I had of the company. The recruiters were correct and professional during the process. However, the interview with the manager took place at a time at the end of the working day and gave me the perception of a not very personalized conduction. During the conversation, there was little eye contact with the camera, which was justified as an analysis of my profile, but it still made me uncomfortable. The feedback from the process was also not positive for me, due to the way it was communicated, and ended up impacting the image I had of the company. Furthermore, I noticed a misalignment between the job description and the profile that, in practice, seemed to be being sought.

The recruiter was very approachable and immediately shared the benefits for the candidate to consider. A point for improvement is the technical interview. I know it varies by team, but I was told there wouldn't be a test. The technical interview lasted 1 hour, with the first 30 minutes covering extremely basic and vague questions, and the next 30 minutes including a test they said wouldn't happen. Also, since the interview was only an hour, I felt they were rushing it, and at times the interviewer was distracted by other things and not fully focused on my answers. For example, I'd mention something about my current job and then they'd ask exactly what I had just said. The process has been open for over 40 days, and I haven't received any feedback, positive or negative.

I learned about the opening through an area leader and applied via Gupy. The tech recruiter contacted me, and we scheduled a chat. What an amazing team, seriously! I felt welcomed; the process was light and totally human, which made me even more interested in joining the group. I then had a chat with the area leader and specialist, and I was surprised again – I absolutely loved it! Congratulations on the humanized selection process; it's an experience I'll carry with me. Thank you so much, regardless of the outcome :)
